Hi Everyone!!! I will start off with the WTC and Pentagon attack. I have received a lot of emails this week concerning the recruits and what will happen to them. Ok! They are all safe and sound! I actually think they are better shape than most of us, being as they aren't glued to their television watching the same things over and over again. What happened in New York and D.C. is horrible and unexcusable. But, the recruits will continue their efforts in completing recruit training. They will first go on to their 10 days of leave, then off to MCT school, then to their MOS school! From there I dont know but I do know that they have not been completely trained until they do those things so dont worry! Kiss and hug them till their blue when they come home and enjoy every minute!

Ok, next... I would like to tell you that my husband won the DI of the Year board for our Battalion. He will now go on to the Regimental Board for DI of Parris Island. That board is tomorrow, so if you could all pray, cross your fingers, and your toes, we would appreciate it! We are very happy that he even won the first one so we wont be crushed if he doesnt go any further. Im very proud of him as you can imagine so of course he is the Best as far as Im concerned anyways:)

Ok, the recruits won the Rifle Range this week! Not only did we win but we had the Company High shooter in our Platoon. His name is Rct. Dougherty. We are very proud of all of them, they did great! So, now we have the Pft, the Company drill, and the Battalion Commanders inspection to win! Just so you all know, Im not a competetive person but, I think we are the best! This Island brings it outta me:)

We ahve reached the planning stages now. Try and get a room on base if you can, there are 2 places on post. You can call the TLF at 843-228-2976. There is a Crucible Ceremony the Thursday before grad week. It starts at around 7:45 am.
